All-Church WORK DAY Tomorrow (Saturday, October 10) from 8 am to Noon. Come help button up the church before Winter - and Hurricane Isaias! Our big project is putting new stones around the pavilion and main building, but there are many other indoor and outdoor jobs, too, both big and small. As always, good fellowship and donuts await!
Our SOUP SALE FUND-RAISER is now taking place. Tomorrow is the last day to place your order for delicious Chicken Noodle, Stuffed Pepper, Broccoli Cheese and Vegetable Beef soups by the pint and quart. Delivery will be next Sunday, October 18.
***See important details for this weekend's HOMECOMING CELEBRATION below. This is a great day to invite a friend or neighbor to church!
Join Us For Homecoming Sunday!
9:30 am Special Homecoming Activities! Try your hand at one of our three fun contests (there will be valuable prizes!), put your information on our Science Hill Time Line, view the historical slideshow, and enjoy fellowship and refreshments.
10 am Worship in the Sanctuary, also live-streamed on Facebook and YouTube. Pastor Jon will preach the message, "Standing Strong in Salvation" based on Ephesians 6:10-17 and I Thessalonians 5:6-11. Derek Swegheimer is our liturgist and Marsha Graham will share the children's message. A Hymn Sing will be held so be prepared to call out your favorite! We will also honor our 50-Year Members and partake of Communion together.
After Worship, there is no Sunday school this week. Instead, you are invited to join us for a free brunch (get your ticket from Debbie Truax at church) at Mount Union's Kresge Dining Hall, 1972 Clarke Avenue.
